Hard luck to the boys who lost 4-3 in the Prmier Cup Final on Sunday. We are very proud of them. They fought hard and never gave up. Thanks to all who supported the boys throughout the tournament.
Congratulations to Ian Fitzgerald who received a nomination for the Junior Club Player of the Year. The awards ceremony will be held in Celbridge Manor Hotel on Saturday November 19th at 7.30pm. Tickets are €30 and can be purchased from Hawkfield Centre of Excellance. We wish Ian the very best of luck.
Congratulations to Clíodhna Malone one of our minor and senior players who received the Overall Winner of the Garda Youth Awards on Friday. She was presented with the award by the Minister of Justice and by William Doyle from Newbridge Silver. Well done Clíodhna.
AGM of the Milltown LGFA took place on Wednesday night and was very well attended. It was great to see the huge interest in the girls club and to see so many parents there. The Skills Academy for the underage girls is back in action for the winter months and due to it's phenomenal success last year the numbers have risen from 20 to 50, it will now take place over 2 nights. On Tuesday nights from 6 to 7 for girls U7 and U8 and then on a Wednesday from 7 to 8 for the girls U9 up to U11. Thanks to all the coaches and mentors including our 3 minor and Senior players Aimee O'Neill, Clíodhna Malone and Lisa Byrne who are giving of their time so generously to help with the Academy
Gaelic4mothers and others has been a runaway success and it will continue with the player in Croke Park at the Blitz next year firmly in their minds. Well done to Sean Trant and Eddie Owens who very bravely took on the role of Coach and Trainers to this bunch of ladies.
"Milltown in Motion" The aim of this is to keep up our fitness levels and to strive for a 5 Km either walking or running. Open to every member of the club and will take place every Wednesday evening from 7 to 8pm.
It is vital that the lotto is supported as this is the main source of funding for the day to day running of the club. Tickets are only 1.50 each and can be purchased from Liz O'Shea, John Murphy and from The Shop in Milltown. We thank you for your support and we look forward to your continued support. We would like to encourage all club members to buy 1 ticket per week.

Hard luck to our U-13 girls who lost out to Rathcoffey by a single point AET in their Division 4 Final, they played their hearts out and can be very proud of their achievements.
Good luck to our U-15 girls who are in a semi final this weekend against Ballyna.
We will be taking orders for Na Fianna gear next Wednesday 16th November, in Ballyteague GAA from 7.30pm to 8pm. Please note all gear ordered on the night must be paid for on the night, please see facebook for prices.
