local_news1_275Robertstown launches a life-saving defibrillator

An automatic external defibrillator (or AED) – a life saving device – has been obtained for Robertstown and a number of community groups have been trained on its us.

In the event of a heart attack, there is a greater chance of survival if an electric shock is administered using an AED.

The AED will be launched at a special night in Mullaney’s Pub on Wednesday 6th March from 9pm – 11pm. Entertainment by Pyramid.

N&C Enterprises Ltd invites all interested parties to a public information meeting to introduce and describe its plans for a civic amenity centre and recycling facility at The Pit, Kilmeague.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 7th March at 8pm in Eleson House.

(If there is no Monday morning Mass in Allenwood, the prayer group will still go ahead as usual at 10am).

We extend an open invitation to meet old and new friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Transport is provided from door to door. Good food, good company on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
