In Allen Church on Tuesday mornings 10am – 11am, Wednesday mornings 10am - 11am. There will be no Adoration on Friday evenings during the month of August but will resume on the 1st September before the First Friday Mass.
In Allenwood Church on Friday mornings after 9.30am Mass.

We are always looking for new members and men who are retired or between jobs are most welcome to join us. We are presently involved in restoration of an old Mini and a Ferguson tractor, woodworking and gardening in a polytunnel. We are also good at tea drinking so come along and join in whatever interests you.
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at the ACDAL complex from 10am to 1pm.

AMDG
Three year adult study course in the Catechism of the Catholic Church resumes on September 4th in the Parish Centre, Prosperous. Weekly sessions for the two study groups either on Mon. 8 to 9pm or Wed 10am to 12noon.

Junior A team face Ballykelly in the last round of championship date and time TBC. Junior C team meet Eadestown next date and time TBC. All roads lead to Hawkfield this Sunday August 13th as our Seniors take on Suncroft in Round 2 of the Championship. Throw in at 6.30p.m, please get out and support the lads!
Well done to our Senior B team who have gained a place in the Championship Semi finals, fixtures to be announced. Hard luck to Jimmy, Johnny and the Kildare Senior team on their defeat to Armagh. In the Herbert Cup Rd 2, Ballyteague overcame neighbours Robertstown in what was a great sporting contest. The final of this will be scheduled after the next round of Kildare club championship. Underage Training every Tuesday and Friday from 7 to 8p.m. please make sure all children have gumshields. Can all parents please make sure they check in at every training. Lotto tickets are also available to purchase at training.

ROBERTSTOWN GFC
Cul Camp: 95 Boys and Girls had a very enjoyable 4 days of fun and games during the week. Many thanks to the Coaches and Mentors who made the camp so enjoyable with special thanks to Chief Organiser, Peter Hogarty. MILLTOWN GFC
Well done to our Senior Ladies who had a great win in the Snr Ladies C/ship on Tuesday. Milltown 3:8 (17) Athy 1:7 (10). Congratulations to our Gaelic4mothers and others who had a great game against Nurney on Tuesday evening also. Well done to our U9's girls who were in action on Saturday and who continue to improve with their football skills
All roads lead to Hawkfield on Tuesday evening for the Hurling for Cancer Research game. Throw in at 6.45. Our U6 and U8 hurlers and camógs will take to the field at half time for the exhibition match. Senior Ladies are in action away to Castlemitchell on Tuesday night at 7.30. The very best of luck to all our Leaving Cert. Members who will receive their results this week. Relay for life takes place next weekend the 19th and 20th August in Punchestown racecourse. Candlebags can be purchased for 5 euro each from Caoimhe Byrne, Aisling Donohue and members of the committee. Milltown GAA are looking for people to take turns and walk at the event. Please contact the ladies above if you can give an hour or two of your time to walk. The gift of time is so precious to those who are battling Cancer.

ALLENWOOD GFC
The seniors to play in the second round of the championship August 20th. The senior Bs play Clogherinkoe Monday evening 730pm in Johnstownbridge in the championship.Please support. We plan as a club to have a fun day for all with numerous activities to take place on the day. This will include our usual barbecue, obstacle course etc. If you are interested in helping out please contact a committee member.
