ANNUAL BEREAVEMENT MASS

Our Annual Bereavement Mass will take place on Friday next, 3rd November at 7.30pm in Allen Church. Refreshments afterwards in Allen hall.

MILLTOWN FORÓIGE
Milltown Cemetery Garden of Remembrance

As part of the Milltown Church Bicentenary Programme, a prayer service and blessing of the "Garden of Remembrance" will take place in St Brigids Church, Milltown on Thursday 2nd November at 7pm.
This is a project that Milltown Foróige has been working on in an attempt to create a special space of tranquillity in an area of unmarked graves. Here, babies who died before during or after birth were buried, also victims of suicide and strangers who died while passing through our community. Their burial was mostly in secret.
Everyone is welcome to attend what will be a beautiful service and your support would be really appreciated. Refreshments will be served in the old school afterwards.

(There will be no Eucharistic Adoration in Milltown Church on Thursday next, 2nd November.)

A big thank you also to local councillors and TDs who attended the event, to see the wonderful community spirit that is alive in our parish. Thank you also to Dave Matthews who lead the opening of the track.
