For a number of years a group of people have been attending a weekly prayer meeting in Robertstown on Thursdays at 7pm. They have a special devotion to May the Blessed Virgin. The facilitator of this group, Geraldine Behan, has a very deep devotion to Our Lady.
At the outset, the group met in a prefab in Denny Moran’s but lately they meet in Geraldine’s house behind the old school on the hill.
The members of the group are Henry & Doreen Farrell, Dorothy Stowe, Angela Bagnall, Marie Carthy, Mary Reidy, Gret Behan, Cathy Sexton, Lily Lenehan and the late Bridie O’Neill.
Geraldine has for many years been dreaming of haing a Grotto to Our Lady at her house and, with the help of the group, her dream will be realised when, on Saturday February 10th, the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, Fr. Willie Byrne PP will bless a beautiful statue at 3pm.
Special thanks to Geraldine’s family, her husband Pa and her son Patrick and to John McNamee and Harry Reidy for all their help in setting up the grotto. All are welcome to the unveiling and blessing.

Closing date for receipt of completed enrolment forms for September 2018 is 31st January 2018.
