youth_ministry1_275 Allen Parish is involved in a number of youth ministry projects. Contact Parish Youth Leader, Ita Wyse, at: 087 992 8592, for details of planned activities. These include:

– The GIFT 1, 2 and 3 Programmes for pupils in first, second and third year of secondary school will normally starts during the first week of November; and

– The Parish Youth Choir, which performs at the 7.30pm Mass in Allen Church on the last Saturday of every month.

– Other activities as they arise. (Keep an eye on this website and the Parish Newsletter)

Ita invites every young person in Allen Parish to feel welcome to participate in any youth ministry event.

World Meeting of Families – August 2018

Dublin has been chosen by Pope Francis to host the next World Meeting of Families in August 2018. This major world event celebrates family as the cornerstone of our lives, and the fundamental building block of society and the Church. Families and others from all over the world will gather in Dublin from 21-26 August 2018 to celebrate their lives together, to share their experiences, to reflect on the different challenges they face, and to grow together in faith.
