Allen Parish website is happy to include your photos and news items -- and to receive comments about the website and how to improve it. Details for submitting photos, news items and comments are outlined below:

Photos

Please forward your photos to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for inclusion on the Allen Parish website. (Photos are included on the website at the discretion of the webteam.)

You should submit your images as:

  • Digital images -- preferably as jpeg files (the industry standard) at medium resolution (no bigger than 5MB per image),
  • Include captions for each image,
  • Give details about the event where the photo was taken (for example, if it was a birth, baptism, first Holy Communion, Confirmation, wedding, retirement, award ceremony or community event),
  • Give the date of the event,
  • State where it took place, and
  • Include the names of those who appear in the photo (names should be listed from left to right, including front row, middle row, back row if applicable),
  • Submission of an image will be taken to mean that the owner of the image gives their permission for it to appear on www.allenparish.ie.

News items

News items for inclusion on the website should be sent to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . (All items that appear on the weekly Parish Newsletter automatically appear on the website, so there is no need to resubmit material already sent to the parish secretary, Margaret Cramer, in the Parish Office.)

Comments and suggestions
