The Parish Priest of Allen, registered in 1704, was Rev. Nicholas Eustace, residing at Rathernan.

Rev. James Reyley, interred in Crosspatrick, died on 9th January 1729. The succession after his death is uncertain, but the names of two priests are mentioned as working in the parish – Rev. Vickars and Rev. Netterville. Both are interred in Crosspatrick.

Rev. William Lawler, appointed circa 1760, and died on 11th December 1802 aged 75.

Rev. John Lawler, died on 12th July 1830.

Rev. Dennis Dunne, died on 31st August 1839, aged 47.

Rev. Eugene O’Reilly, died on June 21st 1871, and was interred at the gospel side of the high altar in the new church.

Rev. John Farrell, died 5th August 1889.

Rev. Edward Lawlor, died 1st February 1920.

Rev. John Kane 1920, transferred to Kildare in September 1926.

Rev. Daniel O'Rourke 1927, died 28th January 1947, interred at the entrance of the church.

Rev. Joseph Dunne 1947, transferred to Portarlington in March 1951.

Rev. Edward O’Byrne 1951, died 20th September 1976, interred at the entrance of the church.

Rev. John McDonald 1976, died 18th February 1985, interred at the entrance of the church.
- Rev. Thomas O’Reilly 1985, transferred to Brazil in 1992.
