Congratulations to the Kildare U20s team and management on winning the Eirgrid U20 All Ireland Final last Sunday. Huge congratulations to Jimmy Hyland who scored 10 points on the day and received the Man of the Match award. Well done to all.

The Senior team will play Eadestown in the Division 3 League Final on Friday 10th August in St. Conleth’s Park Newbridge at 7pm. Intermediate Football Championship Group A

The First team play the next round of the Championship Thursday August 16th at 7.30pm. Huge Congratulations to Jimmy Hyland and the Kildare team on their All Ireland success.

24-hour walk Sponsorship cards are available for those taking part if you are interested in taking part please feel free to contact Aoife or Jemma for a sponsorship card. This is our main fundraiser for the year to raise funds towards developing our grounds with an Astro pitch.

Dates for diary: Fundraiser Wax/Shave Gaelic Mothers and Others and Footballers injury fund holding fundraiser August 25th in the clubhouse at 7pm followed by a barbecue. Tickets €10. 24-hour walk September 21st and 22nd starting at 7pm on Friday through to Saturday 7pm.

Allenwood Couch to 5k continues on Monday and Wednesday nights 7.15pm.

Car Boot Sale in Milltown GAA today Sunday 12th. Open to Vendors at 8am and to Buyers at 9am. All support is very much appreciated. Congratulations to Jimmy Hyland and all the Kildare U20 All Ireland Champions from all in Milltown CLG.

Our U11’s lost out to Moorefield in a challenge match but played some really good football. Well done to all involved.

Our u16’s were away to Moorefield on Friday evening.

Our seniors played Rheban in Hawkfield on Saturday Tuesday 14th our Minors are in Rathangan to Abbey Rangers at 19:30, Ref: Pauric McGivern

136 young people attended the Cúl Camp in Milltown GAA during the week. The weather was very kind and the young people had a lot of fun. Thank you to Ronan Byrne for all his help in organising the event and to all the coaches, trainers and young volunteers. A big thank you to our All Ireland Minor Champions Lara, Clíodhna and Lauren who came along on Thursday with the Minor Leinster Cup and the Minor All Ireland Cup.

A big thank you to all our volunteers who helped out at the BBQ fundraiser at Harvey Norman last weekend. Thank you to Dave O’Donoghue and all at Harvey Norman for their continued support.

Saturday September 1st is “Club Clean Up Day”. From 10 am. Please keep the date free in your diary.

Lotto tickets are €1.50 and are available from Liz O’Shea, John Murphy, Dave’s Shop and at the Club house on a Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. Congratulations to all the winners this week and thank you to all who support the lotto.
