News & Results from our Parish Sports Clubs – 26th January 2014

gaa02News & Results from Our Parish Sports Clubs – 26th January 2014

This Lotto started back in 2005 and has proven to be a great source of income for the Parish and GAA clubs. We wish to acknowledge the generous support for the Lotto, the outstanding work of the GAA clubs and the huge commitment of the Monday night volunteers.

There has been a noticeable decline in Parish ticket sales over the past few years, consequently there has been greater dependence on club sales.

The parish receives 50% of GAA clubs ticket sales and funds all of the prizes. It retains all the income from its own sales. Tickets cost €1.50 each.

We would like to identify a few Parish promoters in each area of the Parish to sell tickets. It is great means of providing regular income for the running of the Parish. The prizes are very good, with a starting jackpot of €1500. If you wish to act as a promoter or wish to purchase a ticket please advise Margaret in the Parish Office or any one of the three Sacristans.

We would invite you to seriously consider supporting our weekly Lotto and to ensure that we actively support the GAA clubs in making this Lotto even more successful.
