Football: Aldridge cup second round saw Allenwood beaten by a very strong Sarsfields team. Allenwood 1-03 Sarsfields 2-12.

Underage: Training resumes Friday March 6th 7pm. Underage discos take place Friday March 13th, April 10th and May 15th.

Membership now due please note membership runs from January to December.

Scór Sinsear was held last Sunday 22 February in Allenwood GAA hall. The following acts go forward to the Leinster semi-final on 7 March in Birr. Figure dancing – Maynooth, solo singing – Cappagh, recitation – St Laurence’s, instrumental music – Ballymore, ballad group – Cappagh, leiriú – Milltown, set dancing – Maynooth. Tra Na gCeist: Allenwood go straight to the All Ireland.

Social/Awards night on 14 March – in the hall with a night of music and dancing. More details to follow. All welcome.

Bingo every Wednesday 8.30pm.


Well done to our U14 Feile C team who were victorious against Athgarvan in their first game of this competition. Result Athgarvan  2-4   Aylmer Gaels 2-7.

Our Minor team were beaten by a strong Monasterevin side. Result Aylmer Gaels 0-8 Monasterevin 0-11.

The club would like to extend its sympathies to clubman Wesley Hendy, the Hendy and the Johnson families on the untimely passing of Linda. Ar dheis De go raibh Si.

Membership 2015 is now due and can be given to any committee member. 

Underage skills night every Friday Night 7 to 8 pm for boys and girls from junior infants up to under 14 level.

Aerobics for beginners take place in the gym every Monday night at 8p.m. The cost is €5. BT Fitness class timetable is now Tuesdays at 7 and 8p.m, Wednesday Morning at 10a.m, Thursdays at 7 and 8p.m and Saturday Mornings at 11a.m. Contact Kieran on 0871031405

Annual A.B.C 5k/10k Fun Run on Sunday April 26th at 11 a.m. Registration forms can be printed from For 10k entrants the cost is €15 per person, for 5k entrants €10 per person, €5 for under 16s and €20 per family.

2015 All Ireland Turf Cutting Championships and Country Fair will be held on Sunday June 7th. More to follow.


Fund Raising Table Quiz in Eleson House on Saturday  next, March 7th at 9.30pm. Table of 4 €40. Please  support.

Annual 400 Club Draw: Tickets at €10 each are available from any Committee Member . Draw takes place on Easter Sunday, April 5th in Eleson House. 1st. Prize  €1,000.


Congratulations to all who participated in Scór last weekend. Our Leiriu team goes on to the Leinster semi-finals in Birr on the 7th March. Quiz team came second and Pat Donoghue was runner up in the recitation section.

Many thanks to the minors who turned out to bag pack in Dunne’s Stores last weekend.

Our u14s played Killard last weekend in the first round of the Féile C. Final score was Milltown 4-03 Killard 7-09. They play Aylmer Gaels today at 10.30 in Ballyteague.

Club shop open on the 7th March. Minors away to St Kevin’s today at 11.45am.

Dowling Cup Round 2 Robertstown received a Walk-Over from Moorefield 2 last Saturday and will be home to Round Towers this Saturday at 2.30 p.m in Round 3 .

Minor League, Div. 4:  Newtown Gaels (Robertstown/Caragh ) travelled to Nurney last Sunday but the pitch was unplayable. Home to Abbey Rangers this Sunday at 11.45 a.m.

Under 16 League Div. 3  Newtown Gaels 1 – 13, Raheens 1 – 7. Home to Aylmer Gaels this Saturday at 4.15 pm.

Under 14 Feile B    Newtown Gaels away to Ballymore this Sunday at 10.30am 

The Hunt in aid of the Club last Sunday was a great success and many thanks to all who took part and to Noel Price the chief organiser .

Parish Lotto: Charlie Gill collected his Jackpot Winnings last Monday  .  Don't forget tickets at €1.50 each are available from our many Promoters and from the Shops and Post Office in Robertstown.


Upcoming events Leinster Indoor Championships 7 and 8 March in Athlone IT. Also Kildare League starts 14 March 1pm in Le Chéile. Training continues Tuesday and Thursday Robertstown GFC.

Final Round of Leinster Development Squad Training is Saturday 21 March.
