Aylmer Gaels GFC

Our u14 u16 and minor teams are all up and running and are preparing for upcoming leagues. There has been great numbers at training. Thanks everyone for supporting our all day cycle fundraiser in Spar Allenwood recently it was a huge success. Please follow the Aylmer Gaels Facebook and twitter pages for all fixtures and results throughout the year. The best of luck to all our underage teams competing this year and best of luck to all our lads involved with the country development squads. 


Congratulations to Kit and Bernadette Jacob who recently their Golden Wedding Anniversary. The club would also like to send best wishes to John Ivers on a very special birthday.

We are participating in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Newbridge this year to promote our club and also our County Fair and Turf Footing competition on June 12th. We are inviting all underage members/members/mentors and parents to participate in the parade with us. The Club were very successful on the football pitches with wins for our Seniors and Minors over the weekend and our U14's on 17 Feb. Well done to all the players, management and to our committed Supporters. 

The Kildare Ladies U16 Team on which we have Lara Curran and Clíodhna Malone representing were very successful on their last outing.  Well done and continued success.

Our U14's, U16's, Minors and Seniors were all in action on weekend of 20th and 21st February and on Saturday 27th our U16's are at home to Athgarvan @4pm and on Sunday 28th our U14's are at home to St. Kevin’s @10.30.

Membership fees for are now due.

Milltown GAA goes Broadway.

March 26th in Killashee House Hotel where 50 of Milltown's finest players, supporters and friends take to the stage. Well done to all our victims/volunteers who have put themselves forward for ultimate bragging rights. Please support them in their endeavours.

Lotto tickets are available from Liz O'Shea, John Murphy and from the local shop for €1.50.  We thank all our promoters for their help and to all those who continue to support the club by buying tickets. Your support is very much appreciated.

Senior ladies training Mondays and Thursdays in Ballyteague from 8-9pm

U-12’s are back training Tuesday 23rd Feb in Ballyteague from 6-7pm on the astro turf. Please bring €2 for use of lights, all girls born 2004, 2005 and 2006 to attend.

Our next registration night will be 3rd March in Ballyteague, new gear can be ordered and paid for on the night also. Our next fundraiser for our underage girls will be “An All Day Cycle” outside SPAR in Allenwood on 5th March.
