Football: Seniors played St Laurence’s away Sunday evening last to earn their first point of the league St Laurence’s 2-10 Allenwood 0-16. The senior Bs played Ballyteague Monday last and came away with a one-point victory. If you wish to be added to our texting list contact Jemma McCabe 087-6524123. Eleson at Home to Caragh Celtic on Wednesday next May 18th at 7 p.m.


Our football teams continue to have mixed results but great improvement all around. Our u12 and U16 lads along with our U14 Feile team and our senior ladies got through to the finals of their groups this year. All our underage are competing very well with lots of success. Well done to the players, mentors and parents. Our senior men lost out to Rheban in Newbridge last Saturday.

Well done to all our Underage players who are having great success with the schools teams. It's a very busy time for sport in the village and many of our underage players are having success in community games and athletics.

Thanks to all our mini Muckers who took part in the event in Punchestown last Saturday. They were amazing. Thanks to Elaine Breslin for organising the event. Thanks also to the stewards who helped out on the day in aid of the club. We really appreciate you volunteering of your time. Milltown Muckers will take place on September 24th and to date we have 110 people paid and registered. Thanks to Gillian Brown and Anne Field for organising this event.

Thanks to all those who help out with the lotto each week. The tickets are 1.50 and are available from Liz Murphy, John Murphy and Dave's Shop.


Player registration is now due, also a club membership of €10 for non players can be paid to any committee member.

Our U-14’s league is up and running, hard luck to the girls they lost to Maynooth last Tuesday.

Hard luck to our Senior Ladies who lost the Division 2 Final to Eadestown last weekend.

Our U-16 league will begin after the State exams in June.

Congratulations to all our girls in 2nd class who received their First Holy Communion in the Parish over the last couple of weekends.
