Hard luck to Jimmy Hyland and the Kildare minor team and management on their defeat last weekend.

GymThe club are looking for someone in the community employment scheme to manage our gym. If you are interested and qualify under the scheme please contact any member of the committee.

Underage: Training continues Friday nights 7pm – 8pm. We wish all our younger members the very best of luck on starting secondary school. 

Bingo every Wednesday 8.30pm in Allenwood GAA hall.

Well done to the boys who beat Kildare Town 1-0 in the Lumsden League Cup quarter final. Home to Newbridge Colts on Sunday at 11am.


Mixed fortunes in our Underage teams this week but all are making huge improvements. Our U13's lads are doing very well in Division 2. Our Senior Ladies made it to the Championship final and the Senior Men made it to the Semi Final of the Junior A Championship. Thanks to everyone for their continued support for all our teams. 

Run-a-muck September 24th. We have now reached last years numbers and the rush is on now to get everyone registered on time. If you have not received your sponsorship card, please contact Anne or Gillian. If you can't take part of help out as a Marshall, you can still support the club by sponsoring one of the Muckers taking part or by donating a spot prize for the fantastic nights entertainment planned for that night in the Inn @ Milltown. 

Congratulations to all who received their exam results and a huge welcome to all the Junior Infants who had a great first day in Scoil Bhride. We look forward to seeing you all in the club in the New Year. 

Well done to Foróige for the great work on Fr. Moores well and to the Tidy Towns for their great work in the Village. 


Congratulations to Mikaela and Rachel and the Kildare Senior Ladies who have booked their place in this years All Ireland Intermediate Final on September 25th.

Our U-11’s and U-13’s have started training in preparation for Autumn League.

Our U-13’s had their first match last Monday away to Rathcoffey, a great display of football from everybody.

Our minors championship will began on September 13th

Robertstown Club Draw in association with Club Kildare: The final draw took place last Friday and again we had no winners . Many thanks to all who bought tickets from the Club in this draw.

A reminder that our Medal Ceremony will take place on Thursday September 8th at 7pm in Robertstown NS. On the night we will acknowledge the success of our athletes at different levels over the past year. All members and their families are encouraged to attend. We will have refreshments for everyone on the night. Don't forget your cameras!

Full training will resume Tuesday 13th and continue every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm in Robertstown GFC.
