World Day of Migrants and Refugees
Migrants leave their homes in search of a better life and face the difficult experience of migration in its various forms.
The theme chosen by Pope Francis for the upcoming World Day of Migrants and Refugees is “Minor migrants, vulnerable and voiceless.”
As Christians, we are called to reach out to and pray for all migrants to emphasize the unity of the human family and the values of acceptance,
hospitality and love of neighbour.

Pray for children seeking safety and life in Europe. Pray for their protection, and that governments will take their role seriously in finding them places of safety and security to live.
Pray for those working with refugee children, many of whom are traumatised and have suffered abuse. Pray for compassion, love and grace to flow from the heart of Jesus through his people, and that many children will find healing and life in Christ.
Pray for peace in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, for a future and a hope for the people of these nations and for future generations.
