Novena starts at 7.30pm each evening with Mass, Rosary and Benediction. Petitions can be placed at the back of the Church and will be carried forward at the Offertory procession.

Fr. Willie and our Pilgrims in Fatima will remember us each evening in their prayers.

Allenwood Celtic Summer Soccer Academy

Allenwood club draw in association with Club Kildare tickets available First draw took place May 26th with Ray Gleeson of Clane the winner of the Renault Clio.Tickets now priced at €75 each or €25 per month with three remaining draws June, July and August 2017. 1st prize Renault Clio or €12,000, 2nd €3,000, 3rd €1,000, 4th €1,000 5th €500 6th €500, 7th-16th €100 each.

Our clothes collection continues clothes may be brought to the Gaa between 9.30am and 12.30pm Monday to Friday.

All Ireland Turf Footing Championships and Country Fair will take place on June 11th this year. Mens,  Womens, Seniors and Kids competitions as well as demonstrations of bread making, butter churning, old working kitchens. The usual fair attractions such bouncy castles, mini digger hook a duck and much more!

The club would like to express its sincere sympathies to the Judge family on the passing of Willie.

Bridgewood Celtic/Eleson United

The boys lost 3-1 to Newbridge Hotspurs and drew 3-3 with Newbridge Colts. No match this weekend.


Best of luck to all our young members who will be sitting State Exams starting Wednesday. Congratulations to our U12's Div 1 winners who were presented with their medals on Friday night by Eoin Doyle Kildare Captain. We would like to thank Eoin for taking the time to present the medals and spend some time with them to have a chat and have their photo taken with him. Well done to the Senior Men who beat Eadestown on Sunday with a score of Milltown 1-9 Eadestown 0-10. A very proud night for all the pupils in Milltown Schools on Tuesday evening. They swept the boards at the Parish cup winning both the girls and boys trophy and they also won the Tom Tobin trophy for mixed relay. To top it off all the prizes in the raffle except one also came to Milltown. This was a great send off for Principal Joe Harnett, who has taken up the position of Principal of School Bhríde in Naas. The club wishes Joe well. Our U14 lads had a great win on Wednesday night again TMH with a score of Milltown 5:18 TMH 3:2 Our U14 girls were away to Leixlip in the league semi final  on Thursday and Our U12 girls were at home to Raheens on Saturday. Our U14 lads were away to Confey on Friday night. The first round of the GAA draw took place last Friday night. In the first draw the club had a winner with the fourth prize sold by Milltown. Congratulations to Fionán and Conor Malone. Lotto tickets are available from Liz O'Shea, John Murphy and Dave's Shop at a cost of €1.50. Thanks to everyone who supports the lotto. Thanks to everyone who is giving the gift of 2 hours of their time this weekend to our fundraiser at Harvey Normans. Good luck to all our girls sitting the Junior and Leaving State Exams on Wednesday 7th June.

We will hold a club gear order night next Wednesday 7th June in Ballyteague from 8-9pm, all gear ordered on the night must be paid for on the night, sample sizes will be available.  The club will have some stalls in the Ballyteague All Ireland Turf Footing and Country Fair again this year, June 11th please volunteer a few hours to help on the day and support our club. A huge thank you to Croi Laighean Credit Union for their recent sponsporship through their Community Fund Award. Registration for players expired at the end of May, please make sure you or your daughter are registered. Reminder to all parents, guardians and supporters if you wish to become a member of our club cost €10, please contact any committee member.
