Allen Parish Newsletter 23rd July 2017

23rd July

An Emergency Collection in aid of Trócaire’s work in East Africa will take place at all Masses this weekend.

Nearly 25 million people in Somalia, Kenya, South Sudan and Ethiopia are currently in urgent need of food and water due to drought. Trócaire is reaching over 150,000 people across the region with emergency food, water and sanitation. This emergency church collection will ensure that Trócaire can continue to scale up our relief efforts and respond to the dire needs of our brothers and sisters across these four countries.

Please support our appeal and help us reach more people with life-saving aid.

We ask you to be extra generous in contributing to the offertory collection today, half of which will go to Trócaire’s emergency appeal

O Lord, you are good and forgiving.
