The Joy of Love
Six-session Parish Conversation - Let’s Talk family – Let’s Be Family
This six-session interactive programme is a preparation for the World Meeting of families which will take place in Dublin in 2018. This programme invites parishioners to reflect on Pope Francis’ document “The Joy of Love”.
- The first two sessions deal with the reality of family life in the world today.
- The third and fourth session explores how love is lived in the family and how children are nurtured
- The fifth session explores Pope Francis’ of human fragility in the - reality of family life, and the importance to reach out to all.
- The final session explores the spirituality of hope in regards to love and marriage.
Each session lasts for approximately one and a half hours.

The Programme will take place in the Parochial House Allen beginning on Tuesday 13th February at 8 p.m. All are most welcome.

As part of our preparation for the World Meeting of Families we are one of the selected parishes to host 24 Hours for the Lord which will take place in Allenwood Church from 6pm on Friday March 9th and concludes with 6.30pm mass on Saturday March 10th.
We welcome everyone in the parish to come and to encourage your extended family and friends also.
