MAY 25th

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place in Allen Church (and in neighbouring parishes) during voting hours from 7am to 10pm on Friday 25th May.
Let us all pray together to protect life.


World Meeting of Families ICON will visit Newbridge Parish from Thursday 3rd May to Monday 7th May.
All are welcome to come and pray before the Icon.
Thurs May 3rd 7.30pm – Taizé Prayer Service of Welcome led by Bishop Denis Nulty

Fri May 4th 12 noon – Schools Liturgy. 7.30pm – Evening Mass for the Feast of St. Conleth

Mon May 7th 11am – Mass and formal closing of the Icon. Celebrated by Bishop Denis Nulty

May Altar – May is traditionally known as the ‘Month of Mary’. In this year of the World Meeting of Families we are encouraged to set up a May altar in our homes.

JFC Round 1: Robertstown vs. Ballykelly in Hawkfield on Friday next, May 4th at 7p.m.
Couch to 5k: All roads lead to Robertstown on Monday, May 7th for our 5k run in association with Robertstown & Allen Parish Athletic Club which will set off at 12 noon and our Guest of Honour, Sonia O’Sullivan has intimated that she will compete in the run .This event is being sponsored by Hanlon's Concrete and we are very grateful to them. After the event we will have a Family Field Day and Food and Refreshments will be served all day and Sonia will officially open our Gymnasium and WalkWay. It should be a great Fun Day for all

Ballyteague will play Kilcock in the first round of the Intermediate Football Championship on Friday 4th May in Hawfield at 8.15pm.
The Reserve team will play Straffan on Monday 30th April at 7.30 pm in Ballyteague.
Underage training every Friday from 7 pm in Ballyteague. New members are welcome to join. Well done to the U9s who had a great game against Moorefield. Team 1 will play Ballykelly on Tuesday 1st May in Ballytegaue at 7.00 pm and Team 2 will play Athy in Athy on Tuesday 1st May at 7.00 pm. U12 Division 5 Football League Ballytegaue play Monasterevan in Monasterevan on Thursday 3rd May at 7.00pm.
The annual ABC 5k and 10k fun run takes place on Sunday 29th of April in Ballytegaue. You can register on This event is kindly sponsored by Hanlon Concrete.

The first team gained their first point when they drew at the weekend final score read Allenwood 0-12 Castledermot 1-09. The reserves were defeated by Leixlip Monday night last. Hard luck to the Aylmer Gaels Minors who were defeated in the league final at the weekend. Championship Allenwood V Rathangan Sunday May 6th in Hawkfield at 6pm.
