ADORATION OF BLESSED SACRAMENT
ON FRIDAY MAY 25th

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place in Allen Church and in Milltown Church (and in neighbouring parishes) from 7am to 10pm on Friday 25th May.

Members of the Adoration Committee will be at the doors of each Church with sign-up sheets for volunteers to cover each hour of the Adoration.

Fifth Commandment: "Thou shall not kill"
Let us all pray together to protect life.

AMORIS LAETITIA - THE JOY OF LOVE
Following our 6 Parish Conversations on Amoris Letitia we will have an evening in the Parochial House this Tuesday 15th of May at 8pm to give feedback on our discussions. All are very welcome.

THE ANNUAL CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION takes place on June 3rd next from St. Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge, to St. Eustaces' Dominican Church for Solemn Benediction. Remember the date June 3rd. We would be very grateful if children, would don their national costume, i.e. Irish Filipino, African, Polish, et al, and help to add a truly catholic flavour to the procession. Communicants and Confirmation children with their families are particularly welcome, especially to celebrate this year of the Family.

5k run: In lovely sunny conditions this event on Monday last was a great success with up to 400 taking part and our guest of honour Sonia O’Sullivan to the fore in the race which was won by Robert McCabe. Afterwards Fr. Willie blessed the Gym and Sonia cut the tape to officially launch the facility. Young teams from Ballyteague, Allenwood and Robertstown played out a blitz. The club, together with Robertstown & Allen Parish Athletic Club with to thank Sonia for all her help and Hanlon Concrete for their kind sponsorship of the event and all those who took part and those who prepared everything for the most enjoyable day.

BALLYTEAGUE GFC
Well done to the seniors who had an impressive win over Kilcock in the first round of the intermediate championship last Friday night on a score line of 2-13 to 1-11. Well done to the team and management. A great start to their 2018 championship campaign.
The senior team will play Robertstown on Saturday 19Th May at 6.00pm in Robertstown.
The Reserve team will play Rathcoffey on Monday 14th May at 7.30 pm in Rathcoffey.
Underage training every Friday from 7 pm in Ballyteague. New members are welcome to join.
The All-Ireland Turf Footing Competition and Country Fair will take place on Sunday 3rd June. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for more details.

ALLENWOOD GFC
The first round of the Championship Allenwood V Rathangan was played Sunday May 6th in Hawkfield and our lads came away with a very impressive win. Congratulations to Brian and Management and all the lads. Final score read Allenwood 1-19 Rathangan 0-16. Next round of the league Allenwood away to Maynooth Saturday May 19th at 6pm.
Underage training every Friday night 7-8pm.
A night of song and dance in Allenwood GAA Sunday June 3rd with our very own Declan Aungier. Tickets on sale soon.

Our Senior men are in action today Sunday at 4pm in Hawkfield against Grange.
Junior B’s are away to Ellistown on Monday at 7.30pm.
Congratulations to our U12 boys who had a good win over Castlemitchell. Milltown 3-9 to Castlemitchell 1-12 during the week and now have home advantage for the Semi Final.
U16 girls Div 5 championship semi final. Naas 2-5, Milltown 2-6. The county final is on June 2nd.
U12 girls are at home to Na Fianna on Wednesday at 7pm
