WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES BUS

Anyone interested in travelling to the RDS Dublin on Diocesan Day, Wednesday 22nd of August or to the Closing Ceremony in Croke Park on Sunday 26th of August can contact Ronan Ashe at 086 3909075.

At this stage in order to secure a place at both venues, registration is required.

Tickets can be bought on the day at the RDS but with no guarantee of securing one unless previously registered.

For further information contact the Parish Office so as to be part of this great occasion.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION ON MAY 25TH
We would like to thank Fr. Willie Byrne PP, Fr. Eddie Kavanagh, our Sacristans, the members of our Adoration Committee, everyone who helped out and everyone who spent time praying at our Eucharistic Adoration last Friday.
It was great to see the support given in Allen and Milltown churches within our own Parish and our participation along with our neighbouring Parishes in Eucharistic Adoration on this day.

BALLYTEAGUE GFC
Well done to the senior team who had a great win over Sallins last Friday night on a scoreline of 4-9 to 0-16. They will face Kill on the 9th June in Kill. Well done to the Reserve team who beat Kildangan on Wednesday night. They are now through to a semi-final. Date and time yet to be decided. Well done to both U8 teams who played Moorefield and Sarsfields on Tuesday. Some great football shown by both teams.
The Cul Camps will take place in Ballytegaue this year from 20th August to 24th August. Book now to avoid disappointment. Underage training every Friday from 7 pm in Ballyteague. New members are welcome to join. The All-Ireland Turf Footing Competition and Country Fair will take place this Sunday 3rd of June in Ballyteague. Things will kick off around 1 o’clock.

ALLENWOOD GFC
The first team played Kilcock Wednesday May 23rd and came away with a win Final score read Allenwood 1-09 Kilcock 0-09. They played TMH Saturday last coming away with a win, Final score read Allenwood 0-10 TMH 1-06.
Fundraiser: Declan Aungier in Allenwood GFC Sunday June 3rd doors open 8.30pm tickets available from any committee member or you may also pay at the door. Tickets €10. A great night of song and dance promised. Underage training every Friday night 7pm-8pm. Cúl Camps take place this year in Allenwood it is on July 9th-13th inclusive. This year we will have 3 stalls at Ballyteague GFC All Ireland Turf Footing Championship on Sunday 3rd June, please support. Our Winifred Dunne Memorial Tournament kindly sponsored by Dunne Haulage again this year, will take place in Allenwood GFC on Saturday 9th June at 10am. Raffle on the day tickets available now from any committee member. All donations at the gate to Friends of Naas Hospital. Best of luck to everyone sitting the State Exams starting on Wednesday. Best of luck to all our members who are starting their state exams on Wednesday. Thanks to all our volunteers who are helping out at the Harvey Norman BBQ fundraiser this weekend. Recent results: Senior Men – Milltown 3:13 Eadestown 4:11. Milltown 2-16 Nurney 2-06. U14 Boys- Kill 2-14 Milltown 3-12. U10 girls played 3 matches in 5 days. They played Castlemitchell, Naas and Raheens and there were excellant displays of football from all girls in all matches. Fixtures this week: Monday June 4th U8 hurlers home to Round Towers at 6pm. Friday June 8th U14 home to Carbury at 7.30pm. Saturday U12 girls away to Ellistown. Saturday U10 girls away to Suncroft. Sunday U14 lads away to Castlemitchell @10.30. Sunday U7 hurlers away to Sarsfields. Sunday U9 hurlers home to Athy at 11am. Congratulations to All Ireland Community Games Gold Medallist Ross Mc Hale in the U14 Art.
