FAREWELL PARTY FOR FR.EDDIE KAVANAGH

To recognise and give thanks to Fr.Eddie Kavanagh for all his years of service to Allen Parish we will be having a Party in Allen Community Hall on Friday 13th of July at 9pm.
For donations to this event please see notices and envelopes in the Parish Churches and local shops.
Everyone in the Parish including all groups are very welcome.

CHANGES TO MASSES IN ALLEN PARISH

With effect from 1st August, to enable one Priest to cover all Masses in Allen Parish, the following changes in Mass times will apply. These arrangements are necessary because of the limited available of Fr. Brian Kavanagh who will reside here in the parish but whose primary job is with The Regional Marriage Tribunal in Maynooth.

Saturdays – one evening Mass in Allenwood at 6.30pm. (No evening Mass in Allen).

Sundays - Milltown 9.30am
Allen 10.30am
Allenwood 11.30am

Baptisms will still take place every two weeks. In Allen and Milltown Baptisms will be on Saturdays and in Allenwood on Sundays. Please keep an eye on the Newsletter for upcoming dates.

Daily Masses – There will be one Mass each weekday as follows:
Monday – Allenwood at 9.30am
Tuesday – Milltown at 9.30am
Wednesday – Robertstown at 10.30am
Thursday – Allen at 9.30am
Friday – Allenwood at 9.30am.

Funeral masses will take precedence on weekdays.

Confessions each Saturday in Allen Church 11am – 11.30am.

ALLEN COMMUNITY HALL

Used Clothes Collection is on going so please bring your unwanted clothes to the Club any evening after 6 p.m.

Senior Football League Division 3 Ballytegaue V Sallins in Sallins on Sunday 8th July at 6.00pm.
The Reserve team have been drawn against Kilcullen in the first round and Two Mile House in the second round of the Reserve D Championship.
Well done to all underage teams who played this week in such warm weather conditions. Keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for up to date underage fixtures.

The First team had a good win over TMH Sunday last final score read Allenwood 2-12 TMH 1-11. Best of luck to Johnny Byrne and the Kildare team as they face Fermanagh on Saturday evening.
