We have a limited number of tickets and bus seats left for the Closing Ceremony on Sunday 26th of August in the Phoenix Park.
These will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

The Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from Monday 16th to Saturday 21st July.
We wish a safe journey to all pilgrims travelling from Allen Parish as part of the Pilgrimage.

Huge crowds attended the Annual Mass in Allen Cemetery on Friday last. Frs Willie Byrne, Denis Harrington and Tommy Hayden concelebrated the Mass and many thanks to the Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, the Choir and special thanks to Purr Maher, Sacristan who had everything ready. The collection taken up at the Mass for the upkeep of the Cemeteries came to €3,050. Many thanks.

ALLEN KNITTING & CROCHET GROUP continues every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm during the Summer months.


With effect from 1st August, to enable one Priest to cover all Masses in Allen Parish, the following changes in Mass times will apply. These arrangements are necessary because of the limited available of Fr. Brian Kavanagh who will reside here in the parish but whose primary job is with The Regional Marriage Tribunal in Maynooth.

Saturdays – one evening Mass in Allenwood at 6.30pm. (No evening Mass in Allen).

Sundays - Milltown 9.30am
Allen 10.30am
Allenwood 11.30am

Baptisms will still take place every two weeks. In Allen and Milltown Baptisms will be on Saturdays and in Allenwood on Sundays. Please keep an eye on the Newsletter for upcoming dates.

Daily Masses – There will be one Mass each weekday as follows:
Monday – Allenwood at 9.30am
Tuesday – Milltown at 9.30am
Wednesday – Robertstown at 10.30am
Thursday – Allen at 9.30am
Friday – Allenwood at 9.30am.

Funeral masses will take precedence on weekdays.

Confessions each Saturday in Allen Church 11am – 11.30am.

Girls Bootcamp held on Saturday last was a great success with special thanks to Catherine Mullaney who organised the day . More of these are planned for the future .
