In Milltown Church Tuesday mornings 10am - 10.30am and Thursday evenings 7pm - 8pm.
In Allen Church on Tuesday mornings 10am – 11am, Wednesday mornings 10am - 11am. (There will be no Eucharistic Adoration on Friday evenings during the month of August in Allen Church. Eucharistic Adoration will continue as normal starting on the first Friday in September).
In Allenwood Church on Friday mornings after 9.30am Mass.

MILLTOWN CEMETERY MASS
A large crowd attended the Annual Mass in Milltown Cemetery on Friday 20th July. Many thanks to Fr Willie Byrne who celebrated the Mass. Many thanks to the Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, the Choir and special thanks to our Sacristan Veronica Murphy and to Martin our FÁS worker who had everything ready and looking well. The collection taken up at the Mass for the upkeep of the Cemetery came to €1,630. Many thanks.

CHANGES TO MASSES IN ALLEN PARISH

With effect from 1st August, to enable one Priest to cover all Masses in Allen Parish, the following changes in Mass times will apply. These arrangements are necessary because of the limited available of Fr. Brian Kavanagh who will reside here in the parish but whose primary job is with The Regional Marriage Tribunal in Maynooth.

Saturdays – one evening Mass in Allenwood at 6.30pm. (No evening Mass in Allen).

Sundays - Milltown 9.30am
Allen 10.30am
Allenwood 11.30am

Baptisms will still take place every two weeks. In Allen and Milltown Baptisms will be on Saturdays and in Allenwood on Sundays. Please keep an eye on the Newsletter for upcoming dates.

Daily Masses – There will be one Mass each weekday as follows:
Monday – Allenwood at 9.30am
Tuesday – Milltown at 9.30am
Wednesday – Robertstown at 10.30am
Thursday – Allen at 9.30am
Friday – Allenwood at 9.30am.

Funeral masses will take precedence on weekdays.

Confessions each Saturday in Allen Church 11am – 11.30am.

TRACEY’S SLIMMING WORLD
Moving to the Inn at Milltown starting on 7th and 8th August. Group times are Tuesday 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Wednesday mornings 9.30am and 11.30am.
Group as normal for this week in Ballyteague.

Bonus Ball: This is run in Mullaneys and for a stake of €2 you could win €48.
Used Clothes Collection is ongoing at the Clubhouse any evening after 6pm.

BALLYTEAGUE GFC
The seniors will play Eadestown in the Division 3 League Final. Time and date TBC.
The Reserve team drew with Two Mile House on Tuesday last on a score line of 1-12 to 0-15. Well done to the team and management.
Underage training every Tuesday and Friday from 7 pm in Ballyteague.
The Cul Camps will take place in Ballytegaue this year from 20thAugust to 24th August. Book now to avoid disappointment.
Well done to the Kildare U20s who beat Kerry in Limerick on Saturday to secure their place in an All-Ireland Final. Congratulations to Jimmy Hyland who was man of the match after scoring 1-8. They will play Mayo in Croke park on Sunday 5th August at 1:15pm. Contact Marie Jacob for tickets.
Ballyteague club draw in association with club Kildare 2018 tickets on sale for €50 or €25 for the two remaining monthly draws. First prize is a Renault Clio or €12,000 cash prize. Tickets available from any committee member.

WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES 2018
We are opening up a new opportunity for those who have availability to volunteer for one day for WMOF2018. We are asking for Volunteer Papal Mass Stewards and Holy Communion Team volunteers for the Closing Mass of WMOF2018 which will take place in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th August. Congratulations to our 3 All Ireland Minor medal Winners Clíodhna, Lara and Lauren who with the Kildare Minors beat Roscommon recently in Moate.
Our u10 girls had a great performance against a strong Kilcullen side.
Our Junior B’s had a draw against Grange.

Congratulation to our Senior Ladies has a win against Castlemitchell with a score of 3-18 to 3-05
Hard luck to our U12’s who lost out in their Semi Final to Round Towers with a score of 2-13 to 5-06.
Congratulations to our Gaelic 4mothers and others who won all three of their matches in their Leinster Blitz.
Our BBQ fundraiser at Harvey Norman’s is on Bank Holiday weekend. If you can spare 2 hours of your time to help out, please contact Róisín Malone.
Our LGFA are holding a car boot sale on Sunday August 12th in Milltown GAA from 9-2. Set up starts at 8am. Cars €10, car with trailer/small van €15 and large van €20. No Food Vendors. Enquiries 0872139576.
