WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES
THANK YOU

As we are all aware, the World Meeting of Families in Dublin has been an enormous success and concludes in the Phoenix Park this weekend.

A very special thank you to the huge number of people from our Parish who were involved in some way over the past number of years and at the festival itself. Thanks to all who participated in the different programmes and events in preparation for the World Meeting of Families. Thank you to all of the volunteers who participated - to those who sang in the choirs at the RDS, Croke Park and the Phoenix Park, to the volunteer Eucharistic Ministers who helped in the Phoenix Park, to the host families who opened their homes to visitors from abroad (because of visa issues we know that some visitors were unable to travel but thanks for volunteering your home).

Finally, a sincere thanks to our parish coordinator Ronan Ashe for all his hard work in organising tickets and transport and to those locals who were volunteer coordinators for the event.
