Allen Parish Senior Citizen Committee will hold a meeting in the Old School Milltown on Thursday 27th September at 8pm.

Caragh Pastoral Council have organised a Healing Mass which will be held on Saturday 29th September at 6.30pm in Our Lady & St. Joseph's Church. A glove belonging to Padre Pio will be available after Mass. Everyone is very welcome to attend.

The Alzheimer Café evening takes place on the last Wednesday of every month from 7pm to 9pm in the Convent Tea Rooms at McAuley Place, Sallins Road, Naas (Beside Parish Church). Those living with a dementia, families, carers and professionals with an interest in the area are all welcome to attend. Each month a different speaker will give a perspective on Alzheimer disease and an open discussion takes place with questions and answers.


Allen National School PTA in association with Lenrec Ltd is holding a clothing recycling collection on the 5th October as a fundraiser for the school.
We are looking for donations of clean unwanted clothes, bed linen, towels, curtains, Paired shoes and belts, Mobile phones and laptops, Soft toys.
Please do NOT donate bric-a-brac or books.
Please drop off all items to the Gym Hall in Allen N.S. on Wednesday 3rd October and Thursday 4th October.

Intermediate Football Championship: Sunday 23rd Sept Ballyteague V Monasterevin at in St. Conleths Park. Best of luck to the team and management. Well done to the underage teams who played this week. The U-13s beat Rathangan on a scoreline of 4-10 to 5-9. Thank you to all the coaches who give up their time to train and manage all the teams. Underage training every Tuesday and Friday night at 7pm. Make sure all children have gumshields with them. U-10 league Fixtures: 30th Sept Green team away to Nurney. Amber team away to St. Laurances. Throw-in 7pm.Save the date! Fundraiser Allenwood gfc 24 hour walk into the future taking place in the gaa grounds Friday with a great buzz about the place members young and not so young taking to the walk way and all for a great cause to develop our grounds. Finishing up with a barbecue and entertainment for all. We incorporated the annual Patsy Roche walk with our event with the Roche family joining us.
