Ecumenical service in Kilmeague Church on Sunday 11th November at 2pm concelebrated by Rev. Frances Grasham and Fr. Willie Byrne to remember all those from the Parish who died in World War I.

Please return your November list of the Dead (blue envelope in your weekly envelope box) to any of the three Churches. The list of the dead will be prayed for at all Masses during November.


Christmas Party will take place on 9th December at 1pm in Dowlings, Prosperous. More details to follow.

Mass will be offered on Friday 9th November in Allenwood at 9.30am for deceased members of Allenwood ESB. All are welcome to light refreshments in ACDAL after Mass.

The new rotas for Lay Readers and Eucharistic Ministers are being prepared for next year. If you previously ministered in Allen on Saturday evenings, you can switch to 10.30am on Sunday mornings. Alternatively you may wish to serve in Allenwood Church on Saturday evenings and if so you can contact Christina Ryan at 089 4276754.
As the new rotas have to be ready for distribution before the end of December, all changes need to be received by November 16th.

Na Fianna Mens Shed in conjunction with Allen Area CE Scheme are hosting their Christmas Fayre on Sunday December 2nd in Allenwood GAA Centre. It is hoped to have a full Parish participation. They are inviting clubs, small enterprise/cottage type industries or other interested participants to display their wares. Musical entertainment will feature.

Great win on Tuesday night for under 10’s against a strong Moorefield side.
A fantastic finish to a great year of underage football. A big thank you to all the coaches and helpers who put in so much hard work and effort. A huge congratulations to our Senior men who travelled to Aughrim on Saturday last for Round 1 of the Leinster Junior Football Championship. A fantastic performance with Milltown having a great win. Milltown Clg (ke)1 -12 Kilcoole (ww) 0-11. Round 2 Saturday 10th in Hawkfield see Milltown Kildare Junior A Champions take on The Carlow Junior A Champions. All support is very much appreciated for our Club.
Ladies minor league: Milltown 3:12 (21) TMH 5:6 (21). Well done girls. The Minor Ladies met Raheens in the Semi Final Saturday Nov 3rd.
Well done to our U17 lads who had a good win over St. Kevin's. St Kevin's 2-2; Milltown 2-13.

MILLTOWN PARENTS ASSOCIATION is running a Family Table Quiz Saturday 10th Nov 2018 at 3pm sharp, in the Milltown Inn. Entry fee is €40 per team of 4. Funds raised will go towards replenishment of maths and science equipment for the school.

MILLTOWN TIDY TOWNS Commune-a-Tea Cuppa and a chat takes place this Sunday November 4th from 10.15am to 11.15am. All passing by are welcome.
