After the hottest July on record, it’s time to fight back against climate change as we care and give thanks for the world God has made. We can do that by joining Pope Francis and the Church as Catholics and fellow Christians worldwide celebrate the Season of Creation, September 1 to October 4

Bishop Denis will celebrate mass on Friday, 6th September at 7:30pm in St. Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge, for all Holy Family past pupils and past staff, in honour of the school's 60th Diamond Jubilee. Refreshments afterwards in the school. All welcome.

The club would like to extend sincere sympathy to the Ivers family on the recent passing of May Ivers RIP. The club would also like to extend sincere sympathy to the family of the late Ulick Burke. RIP. The club would like to wish senior player Gary ‘Fudge’ Nugent a speedy recovery after he injured himself in the championship game against Kilcullen.

Registration for the new and existing members of Milltown Foroige year takes place Friday 6th Sept in Milltown GFC hall from 7.30-9.30pm and is open to all teenagers age 12-18years and in Post Primary school. This is an amazing youth led club that organises fun and social activities and takes part in training, workshops and citizenship projects. Registration is €30, and the weekly cost is €3 per person. New members are always welcome. All parents must attend for registration with their young person to fill in permission forms.
New volunteers are also urgently required, no experience necessary as all training will be provided and all levels of involvement is welcome. All you need is a spirit of volunteerism and adventure and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience with the young people.
