Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week 2020 will be celebrated from Sunday January 26 to Sunday February 2. This Year’s theme is ‘Living in Harmony with God’s Creation’.
Grandparents Day
Grandparents are an integral part of Catholic Schools Week. We acknowledge the huge amount of work Grandparents do in passing on their Catholic faith to their grandchildren.

Masses for Grandparents Day will be celebrated as follows:
Milltown: Wednesday 29th January at 11.30am
Allen: Thursday 30th January at 9.30am
Robertstown: Thursday 30th January at 11am
Allenwood: Friday 31st January at 9.30am

‘2020 Vision - to see clearly as a Catholic.’
We are holding a course entitled "20/20 Vision - Seeing Clearly as a Catholic Today" over two more Monday nights in the Parish Centre, Station Rd., Newbridge. Fr. John Harris O.P. will guide us through some important topics that are at the heart of our faith. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion! So please feel welcome to come along and bring a friend! (The session will last one hour, beginning at 7.30pm).

Milltown Church
As we continue to research the history around Milltown Church we would appreciate any information in relation to: name of people who did work on the Church over the years, donations of items for the Church, any info on a crown for the statute of Our Lady, old photos, the Missions, Sodalities, Devotions, Stations of the Cross, funerals, Priests who served in the parish, other customs and stories, any details on old Churches and Reiligín. The Blessing of the Throats will take place in the Carmelite Friary, White Abbey, Kildare Town on Monday 3rd February from after the 8am Mass until 7.30pm evening Mass.

Allen Knitting & Crochet Group and Social Morning Every Tuesday from 10am to 12 noon in Allen Hall. All are welcome to come along for a chat and a cup of tea. Ability to knit or crochet is not necessary.

Youth 2000 Annual St Valentines fundraiser Ball takes place in The Osprey Hotel, Naas on the 8th of February. Mass at 5pm in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane followed by dinner at 7pm. Senior men play their first match in the Keogh Cup on Saturday February 8th at 2pm away to Straffan. Welcome onboard our new management teams for our Senior men David Cullagh, Sean Mulpeter, Mark Cullagh, Fionán Malone and our senior ladies Ken Johnson and Liz Curran. Best of luck to our Senior County Ladies Clíodhna, Lara and Lauren who are away to Fermanagh this Sunday at 2pm. MILLTOWN MUCKERS March 21st Milltown GAA. Sam was presented with his award on Friday January 24th at the Garda Youth Awards Ceremony in Punchestown. Sam joins previous winners from Milltown GAA Lisa Byrne (regional winner)and Cliodhna Malone (overall winner). Scór Sinséar takes place in Allenwood on February 28th.
