The Club was deeply saddened on Thursday morning to hear of the passing of its Vice president Tom Field. Tom was a true and loyal Milltown man and although he settled in well into the Larks in Ballyteague, he always remained a staunch Milltown man and always when both clubs met he would request a “Milltown win” so he could have bragging rites for the next few weeks. Tom played all his football with Milltown winning medals in the Intermediate championship and the Jack Higgins Cup. Tom was predeceased by his wife Moll and his son Seamus. Beloved Dad to Suzanne and Thomas. Sadly missed by Fiona, Michael, His seven Grandchildren & his great grandchild, sister Sheila and brother Seamus, his extended family and large circle of friends both in Ballyteague GAA and here in Milltown GAA. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Our Senior Men are away Saturday February 8th at 2pm to Straffan Our U15 lads are at home to Celbridge @12 noon on Sunday February 9th. MILLTOWN MUCKERS return for its last outing on March 21st Milltown GAA.We have been delighted with the response with many of our teams returning for ‘payback time’. If you wish to be part of a team for his fun filled event please contact us.
