As we continue to research the history around Milltown Church we would appreciate any information in relation to: name of people who did work on the Church over the years, donations of items for the Church, any info on a crown for the statute of Our Lady, old photos, the Missions, Sodalities, Devotions, Stations of the Cross, funerals, Priests who served in the parish, other customs and stories, any details on old Churches and Reiligín. Accord Catholic Marriage Care Service seeking marriage preparation course facilitators
ACCORD Catholic Marriage Care Service is currently recruiting volunteers to train as marriage preparation course facilitators.
• If you have a positive attitude towards marriage in the Catholic Church
• If you have the enthusiasm to be part of the Accord team in supporting couples who are preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage

Successful applicants will receive professional training and will be part of a team delivering marriage preparation courses locally.

Radio Maria Ireland wish to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to the people of Allen Parish for their generosity at their recent promotional visit. A total of €515 was raised to help with the running of the station.

National club draw 2018. We would ask all members to make an effort to sell or buy a ticket. There are some fantastic prizes ranging from a Renault Clio to All-Ireland final packages. BALLYTEAGUE GFC
Fixtures: U13 Div 4 Group 4 Ballyteague will play Kill in Kill at 10.30am. The Keogh Cup Group D Rd 2 Ballyteague will play Allenwood in Allenwood on Sat 15th Feb at 2pm. The club would like to extend sincere sympathy to the Field and Gilligan families on the sad passing of Tom Field. Tom was a loyal Milltown man who lived in Ballyteague. MILLTOWN GFC
Well done to our U15 lads who started their campaign off to a good start with a great win over Celbridge. They are in action at home today Sunday against Round Towers. Senior men were away to Straffan yesterday in their first round of the Keogh Cup. Kildare Senior ladies had a great victory over Sligo with a score of Kildare 2-13 Sligo 1-8. Well done to Lara with a personal tally of 1-7. Congratulations and well done Ladies. The ladies are in action today Sunday in St.Conleths Park at 2pm when they play Wicklow. U16 Ladies Championship match at home to Rathangan Saturday 15th February- 11.30am. Thank you to all who turned out for the Underage AGM.
