As we continue to research the history around Milltown Church we would appreciate any information in relation to: name of people who did work on the Church over the years, donations of items for the Church, any info on a crown for the statute of Our Lady, old photos, the Missions, Sodalities, Devotions, Stations of the Cross, funerals, Priests who served in the parish, other customs and stories, any details on old Churches and Reiligín. Accord Catholic Marriage Care Service seeking marriage preparation course facilitators
ACCORD Catholic Marriage Care Service is currently recruiting volunteers to train as marriage preparation course facilitators.
• If you have a positive attitude towards marriage in the Catholic Church
• If you have the enthusiasm to be part of the Accord team in supporting couples who are preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage

Rathangan Local History will host a talk by James Durney on the ‘Rath Internment Camp and local connections’, on Wednesday February 19th at 8pm in the Old Schoolhouse. The Rath Internment Camp was built by the British to house between 1200 – 1500 prisoners during the War of Independence.

BALLYTEAGUE GFC
Fixtures: U13 Div 4 Group 4 Ballyteague will play Sallins in Ballyteague at 10.30am on Sun 16th. The Keogh Cup Group D Rd 2 Ballyteague will play Allenwood in Allenwood on Sat 15th Feb at 2pm.
