+ Make the sign of the cross when leaving your
home / passing a church / cemetery / before and after a meal
+ Give up social media for an evening (or more!)
+ Take some time to go on a walk and say a prayer along the way
+ Take a pause when you feel you want to give out
+ Give up a coffee / a meal out and donate the money you saved+ Support Trócaire’s Lenten appeal

Allenwood Church on Friday mornings after 9.30am Mass.

Adoration takes place every Monday (except Bank Holidays) 10.30am-12.30pm. All are very welcome. Please note change of time.

Seated Yoga for people under 50 with arthritis starts on Monday 2nd March and continues weekly until 6th April at 7.30pm in Newbridge Parish Centre. Congratulations to Francesca and Katelyn and all the Kildare U14 Ladies and Management who won all 5 games in Hawkfield on Saturday last. Congratulations to Lara, Cliodhna and Lauren and the kildare Senior ladies who had a good win over Laois last weekend. Lara is currently in second place in Division 3 “Top Scorer 2020” having scored 3-19 to date for Kildare. All our younger ladies are back training from Wednesday March 25th from 6.30 - 7.30pm. “Milltown Muckers” return March 21st. We have 17 teams to date. If you wish to take part and be on a team, please contact Dave Kelly. We are also looking for volunteers to help out on the day. This is a great community event and is for the development of our new playing pitches. Weather permitting we start the new development in April. A huge thank you to all who took part in Scór Sinséar in Allenwood Friday last. We had Solo singing, Recitation, Novelty Act and Figure Dancing. Volunteers wanted to help Marshall at the Run a muck event in Carbury on March 7th. This is a fundraiser for the LGFA. Can you help? Please contact Liz Buckley.

We are delighted to host our annually Bog of Allen 5km & 10km run this year on Sun 1st March starting at 11am. The race is chip timed by JustRuns events. The race starts and finishes in Ballyteague GFC. Register online at . The club would like to thank Fr. Willie Byrne for celebrating our club mass last Friday. A lovely evening was had by all.
