The Annual Memorial Mass for Deceased Civilian Employees of the Defence Forces including the Curragh Camp, Devoy Barracks Naas, Magee Barracks Kildare and Coolmoney Camp will take place on Friday March 20th at 10am in St. Brigids Church the Curragh Camp. Relatives and friends of the deceased are invited to attend. Refreshments will be available after Mass in McDonagh Catering Centre until 12 noon.

Milltown also won Club of the Year to go alongside the Scór na nÓg Club of the Year. The Senior Hurling team are delighted to be hosting an Easter Hurling Camp from 7th-9th April. The club were deeply saddened this week to hear of the death of Sean Cullen and Susan Conlon. Sean was a very popular member of our village community and the father of our former club Secretary Timmy. Our sincerest condolences to John, Linda, Michelle and Timmy and their families at this very sad time. Séan was laid to rest in Milltown on Friday morning. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Susan was a beautiful gentle lady and who with her family was a staunch supporter of the Conlon Cup set up in memory of her son John who passed away as a young boy over 40 years ago. Our sincerest condolences to Margaret, Suzanne, Patrick, Declan and Joseph and their families at this very sad time. Susan was laid to rest in Newbridge on Friday morning.
