Due to the current Level 3 restrictions NO PUBLIC MASSES are allowed in our Churches. Masses are broadcast live from Allenwood Church on our facebook page at the following times:
Monday to Friday 9.30am
Saturday 6.30pm
Sunday 9.30am
(In line with government guidelines, during Level 3 restrictions Funerals are limited to 25 people only.)

Our Churches are OPEN for private prayer
or to light a candle.

Baptisms: All Baptisms are suspended during the Level 3 restrictions. Baptisms will take place in Allenwood Church when public worship resumes.

The Hook of Faith Zoom Conference
The team at ‘The Hook of Faith’ (www.thehookoffaith.com) are pleased to announce a Zoom Conference for the month of October that focuses on ‘EVANGELISING IRISH CULTURE TODAY’. Each session will be led by an expert speaker followed by 10 mins of Q and A.  Each session will begin at 8pm. We hope that as many as possible participate in this event for the missionary month of October.

COVID-19 Support Line for Older People
ALONE manage a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Professional staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassurance where necessary.

SeniorLine is a national, confidential listening service for older people. Freephone 1800 80 45 91 anytime between 10am and 10pm Mon-Sunday.

WEEKLY ENVELOPES
Very many thanks to all parishioners who have returned weekly envelopes, and to all for your continued financial support of the Parish during this unprecedented time.
A facility for online donations to the parish has been made available by Bishop Denis on the Diocesan website at kandle.ie. Many thanks to parishioners who have used this secure facility.
Alternatively, anyone who wishes to make a donation through the bank can contact the Parish Office at 045-450501 for our bank details.

THE ALLEN EYE - CHRISTMAS EDITION: Covid-19 has impacted on all our lives for most of 2020, making it a year to forget. We have taken this into account, and it is our intention to focus on the positive and the true spirit of Christmas. We are asking our readers to submit their ‘HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS MEMORY’. An independent adjudicator will select some of these entries for inclusion in our Christmas edition. We will have a few prizes for the selected entries.
