NOVEMBER – THE MONTH OF ALL SOULS
November List of the Dead: Please return your November list of the dead (purple envelope). Your envelope can be put through the letter box in the Parish Office or the Parochial House or can be dropped into the collection box at the back of the Church (these are emptied daily). Your lists will be placed on the altar and remembered at all Masses during the month of November.

NEW WEEKLY ENVELOPE BOXES
New Weekly Envelope Boxes for the year 2020/2021 are now available for delivery. The usual distributors are asked to kindly collect them from the Church and hand them out – Allenwood and Robertstown areas from Allenwood Church, Allen/Kilmeague areas from Allen Church and Milltown areas from Milltown Church.
We wish to sincerely thank all parishioners who contribute to the weekly envelope collection for your generous support over the past year. This income is vital for the upkeep of the Parish in particular during this unprecedented time.
Online donations: A facility for online donations has been made available to us by the Diocese at kandle.ie. Many thanks to parishioners who have been using this safe and secure facility over the past months.

BAPTISMS cannot take place during the current Level 5 restrictions and will resume in Allenwood Church when we can return to public worship (Levels 1 and 2). Those who previously had Baptisms booked will be contacted as soon as we have a definite date for reopening.

A CORONAVIRUS PRAYER
Almighty and eternal God,
our refuge in every danger,
to whom we turn in our distress,
in faith we pray:
look with compassion on the afflicted,
grant eternal rest to the dead, comfort to mourners,
healing to the sick, peace to the dying,
strength to healthcare workers, wisdom to our leaders
and the courage to reach out to all in love,
so that together we may give glory to your holy name.
Amen.

Did you know that you can help Allen Parish to reclaim thousands of euro at no extra cost to you? The government provides us with this opportunity through the Charitable Donation Scheme.
How to enable us to claim tax relief on your donation?
If you give €250 or more to Allen Parish in one calendar year, your donation could be worth an extra €112.25 to us. You just need to sign the Revenue CHY3 form and return to the Parish Office. (Once signed, the CHY3 form lasts for 5 years).
• The form does not commit you to pay anything - it simply enables tax relief if you donate €250+ in any of the five years.
• Please note that all details received on CHY forms are stored securely, and will only be used for the purposes of submitting tax reclaims to Revenue. If you have any questions about the Charity Tax Reclaim programme, please contact the Parish Office at 045-450501.

Allen Parish St. Vincent de Paul can be contacted confidentially at 085 2095220. We are here to help.
